The Olympics

My blog is about the olympic games in Sochi, Russia and the success the United States had in the skating pairs competition. Personally, the most noticeable achievement or gold was the ice skating pairs competition. Meryl Davis and Charlie White, have just won gold for the U.S. and that is the first time the United States have ever gotten gold in this competition. As well, they won with the highest point total ever recorded in this event. This is incredible and is a great story, because these to competitors have been working together and ice skating in pairs with each other since the age of 3. This is unheard of, and it is more incredible because of the story behind it. It was history in the making and it made a huge mark into the olympic games history books.
