This summer I have been invited to participate in a 2 and a half week long trip through a couple different European countries with my friends Tyler Solinsky, AJ Schiappa, and Jonathan Preston. To get to Europe we will be taking Tylers' parents private jet first to Greenland so that it can get refueled for the first destination of Dublin, Ireland. There we plan on going to see the sites of our ancestors past homeland and plan on doing the legendary pub crawl. After we leave Dublin we will be headed to Germany with a stop in Belgium to taste some of their delicious chocolates. We will either be going to Berlin or Munich while in Germany, where we will visit many of the historical sites there and live the life of a German for a few days. Once we have had our fill in Germany it will be on to Italy to see my grandmother's old home. We will probably stay in Italy for a majority of the trip for the great food, history, and beautiful weather. Our last stop will be either France or Spain to finish on a good note with warm weather and beautiful scenery.
I am so excited to see Europe as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I will learn so much about the history and customs of other countries and will come back with many stories to tell. I will definitely have many souvenirs to go along with those stories as well. I am worried that I may get a little tired of my friends because they have personalities that at time can be hard to deal with. On the other hand this group of friends that I am going with is incredibly fun to be around and I have no doubt in my mind that I will have a great time whether I get sick of them or not.
