A few months ago the Chevy corporation had released their anticipated new model of Corvette, but no one expected them to start another new generation of Vette's. It all started in 1953 when the first generation of corvette was produced, the C 1. Ever since then, about every decade Chevy has released a new generation of Corvette and released special edition cars every now and then from Grand Sports to ZR1's.
The Stingray is a special kind of sports car. in the 1970's the original Stingray was produced and it was a tough opponent for the Ford's Mustang to beat. It seemed every year a new model of Stingray was released it came with even more bells and whistles than before. Now, after 30 years in the shadows, Chevy resurfaced the excitement of seeing that gorgeous car roar past you on the road.
The new 2014 Corvette Stingray is the start of the C 7 family of Corvette's. The new Vette boasts a 7 speed manual transmission with a roaring 6.2L V8 engine pushing out a neck breaking 420 horsepower all the while saving you money on gas with 29 miles to the gallon.
All around, the Stingray is a tough competitor to beat since Chevy practically blew Ford and Dodge out of the water with the jaw-dropping design. It's a car lovers wet dream and a real head turner. Its a car that's be on everyones wish list, including mine.
